Drinking water fountains have been installed at nine locations of T-2 terminal (international) by the Airports Authority of India. People can drink water directly from the fountain without using cups. Airport Director George G. Tharakan said the water fountains, installed at a cost of Rs.25 lakh, had been manufactured by a US-based company.
